Week One - Topic
I am considering a topic, but I am not completely sure. It has various frameworks from where to choose, but from so many i'm a little confused. I want my project to be on immigration. However, there are many topics that deal with immigration and it's hard picking one. Yet, I feel that if I do my project on the stories and experiences from illegal immigrant's children it would be quite interesting. Therefore, I am debating whether to decide on that or on the policy's that exist for these immigrants. Hopefully, I decided very soon to get started on everything else.

The idea that you have about the stories of immigrants is one that can draw on many angles. If you are considering policy, one aspect would be to look at the DREAM Act, because it deals specifically with the children of illegal immigrants that often find themselves in the same (il)legal boat as their parents. This bill has been passed around in Congress like a baton with rabies, and it would be interesting to see the personal introspective instead of a politico's opinion.
